What we put tile on, and what we don't

Tile veneer is thin tile adhered to a vertical surface. Think of the front of a house, a stucco wall that looks tired, the columns by your entry, or the wall around your fireplace. We prep the substrate, set the tile in mortar, grout it, and seal it where sun and sprinklers will hit it. Porcelain and ceramic both hold up outside in Hemet when they are rated for exterior use and set right. We are a C-29 masonry contractor, CSLB #1156439, and this is masonry work.

This is not bathroom tile. We do not set shower tile, kitchen backsplashes, or floor tile inside the house. That is a C-54 tile setter. Patio pavers are a different job. If your job is a wall, an entry, a column, or a fireplace surround, you are in the right place.

Here is how it goes. You call, we come out to Hemet or nearby, look at the wall, and talk about the tile you want. We tell you what will hold up in our heat and what will not. You get a written scope before we start. We work in Hemet, San Jacinto, Menifee, and across Riverside County, and we will quote jobs in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Orange County when the drive makes sense.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you install bathroom tile?

No. Bathroom, shower, and kitchen tile is C-54 tile setter work. We are a C-29 masonry contractor, so we stick to exterior walls, entries, columns, and fireplace surrounds.

Can you tile a fireplace surround?

Yes. We set porcelain or ceramic tile on the face of your fireplace, and we check clearances to the firebox before we start.

Will porcelain tile hold up outside in Hemet?

Yes, if it is rated for exterior use and set in the right mortar. We pick materials that handle Hemet summers and the occasional freeze.

Can you put tile over my stucco or concrete block wall?

Usually, if the stucco or block is sound and tied to the structure. We check it first, fix the loose spots, and then set the tile.
